Hi I have windows 7 installed classic shell, being a ex xp user and having to go to windows 7 because of some software issues, I think this program is great, been using it for quite a while now with no problems, but suddenly now when I start my computer it starts with windows 7 startup. an I have to reconfigure for classic shell, it does not seem to remember my settings when I shut down and then restart, any help would be welcome. cheers using ver 4.1.0 |

Sorry I don't understand what you mean by "starts with windows 7 startup". Do you mean that when your Windows 7 boots, you are not getting the Classic Start Menu but instead the Windows 7 menu? To fix that, make sure "Start automatically for this user" is checked on the General Behavior tab in Start Menu Settings. Another thing you can do is create a shortcut to C:\Program Files\Classic Shell\ClassicStartMenu.exe and put the shortcut in your Startup folder at C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup |

Hi sorry I did not make myself clear, but yes you were right, it was starting up with windows 7 menu, the good behavior tab was set OK so created the short cut and that did the trick, many thanks for the info and a great program. |
