Is there a way of getting the Aero Glass user picture effect where it stands above the top of the start menu like in Windows Vista or 7?

For now, there is the Winaero Skin Pack for Classic Shell which has the user picture outside the Start menu: http://winaero.com/blog/introducing-win ... sic-shell/ . Stay tuned for the future. ;)

Well good news for you. Now the latest public beta version of Classic Shell which is available from the home page has the user picture outside the Start menu frame exactly like the Windows 7 menu. Try it if you are interested.
