I love this tool! Great! Thanks! I love the way I can re-use my old beloved start menu with Windows 7 instead of his own with the recent programs menu. I only want to use this start menu adaptation to the old menu. I don't want also Explorer to be the classical way. I'm quite used to the new Windows 7 Explorer. Is there an option that you can check out the classical explorer so you can use the own Windows 7 Explorer again? That with keeping the classic start menu off course? Anyone, did I miss some check box or ... Thanks!! By the way that the Explore also would be changed back to classic was not mentioned on the site for download. This was a surprise after installation! http://www.petri.co.il/classic-start-menu-in-windows-7.htm# |

Yes you missed that option during installation. Here is how you can choose to install only one component and not install other components: http://www.windowshomecomputing.com/pos ... ssic-Shell |

Great! Many Thanks! I will install it again! Note: When I uninstalled it, the classic menu on Explorer remained visible independently how the check-box of Always menu was set in options. Only after a restore of windows to a point where Classic Shell wasn't installed it disappeared. No I will re-install classic Shell again keeping in mind to de-select the other two options. Many thanks! Can't wait to have the menu back again with Classic Shell! |
