Yesterday, I upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10 Pro. After upgrading I cannot run or uninstall Classic Shell. When I try to reinstall, I get "The specific user account exists" notification and when I press enter, the installation rolls back. Is Microsoft blocking the install? or is there another way of uninstalling and re-installing. Please advise. Classic Shell is a must for Windows 10 users. Thank you Ivo. |

Download the Classic Shell Utility from here: http://www.classicshell.net/downloads/ Choose the option to do manual uninstall, and follow the instructions. Then reboot when prompted. Install the latest stable version 4.2.5c, or if you are using pre-release Insider builds of Windows 10 then use beta version 4.2.7. |
