| Post subject: | Classic start left click delay how to really fix |
Been using classic shell for a while on desktop & laptop. Now 4.25 both with most current win 10. Installed all that comes with it. I am just trying to keep it simple just using the simple settings, 1 column, no animations etc. Both have the rectangular start button. When I left click on the desktop I have to wait like 15or more. It gets really annoying waiting for the hourglass to finish doing something. Then the ability for it to be immediate if I subsequently left click on it to open another program "last" for a short time after that. But after a while it does the long hourglass thing. This doesn't happen on the laptop. I compared the class shell setting and don't find any difference. Any thoughts on how to fix this. I read through a lot of post and tried several of those suggestions. Thanks |

Oh, uhm, I've just posted something in another thread without seeing this one. You could try the advices given in this thread and see if it improves? |
