Rolled back from windows 10 to windows 8.1 and have problems I have used the utility to remove classic shell and then reinstalled, but the icons on the bottom row do not launch the applications and the start button does not open the menu, it just hangs. What is my next step to getting this working. I hav also tried to remove the program and revert back to 8.1 settings but no luck to date have access to programs only through file explorer and lookup from files explorer or desktop icons. thanks Michael |

Looks like there is more broken than just the start menu. If the OS is not working, any program you run could have problems. I would suggest you first uninstall Classic Shell and try to get your Windows 8.1 in a fully working order. Only then try Classic Shell again. |

The icons at the bottom are part of the Windows taskbar, not Classic Shell. It looks like you may have to reinstall Windows 8.1. |
