I'm running Win 10 Build 10586 on several different computers. I have the Box checked in settings for right click opens Win+X Menu on all the computers. One of the installations will do nothing with the right click. The others work just fine. If however, I Exit from Classic Shell and then open the settings menu, Classic Shell works just fine on all functions. I have tried saving Classic Shell settings from other computers and importing to this computer but no fix. If I reboot, the problem returns and is fixed by exiting CS and again opening settings.

Any Ideas for a better fix?

Thanks

So some other process on that one PC must be loading after Classic Start Menu loads which prevents the right click. When you exit CSM and start it again, it must be overriding whatever process prevents right click and thus it starts working again.

Does Shift+right click work on that one PC at first before you exit CSM and start it again? It might be the drivers that are specific to that PC or some app that is interfering. You could use Task Manager's Startup tab to inspect what programs load at startup and do an elimination by trial-and-error to find which app (if any) is preventing first time right click after logon.

Yes, the right click works on startup and also when I exit CS and then get it to restart with the settings start. I'll check what is loading and eliminate them one at a time as you recommended.
