Right now I am using Win 8.1 with the Classic Menu and desktop of XP and am loving it...
with that said I've already backed up my system and will be going to Win10...(here we go again)

My question is, when I install Win 10 will the transition to what I'm using now be a suttle change, or am I
going to have to start pulling my hair out, what little I have left.? Meaning, will Classic Shell operation be
transparent after the download or do I have to do something else?
Thanks guys!!!!

If your on a recent version of classic shell, the upgrade should go through without a hitch. and the classic shell menu will look and work 90% the way it did before; most notable changes are the options on the 'windows 8/8.1' tab wont be available.. (instead you will receive a 'windows 10' tab with settings specific to windows 10)

If you are asking about if Windows 10 itself is going to be a painless transition since you are on Windows 8.1 right now, read this: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=6137#p26932 and viewtopic.php?f=7&t=6137#p26956. Windows 10 is an awful experience compared to even Windows 8.1.
