Post subject:  move items from 'programs' to left column
Hi,

I use the classic menu with two columns.


When I drag and drop a single item from 'programs' to the left column, it moves correctly out of 'programs' into the left column.


When I drag and drop a folder (with its items) from 'programs' to the left column it appears in the left column but stays also still in 'programs'.
When I then delete it from program it also dissapears from the left column.

So I'm able to move items from 'programs' to the left column, but not folders with items!

Please advise, thanks!

By default when you drag from programs to the main menu, the item is pinned. You can override the default by holding Ctrl for Copy, Shift for Move or Ctrl+Shift for Pin.

I found out a solution:

Just move those folders + items in Explorer instead in the startmenu and it goes OK.
Is more of a workaround, but it's fine with me.

Nevertheless many thanks for the information about drag and drop with keys pressed.
