I am on Windows 10 now and one of the things I like is how it lets you pin more than just apps. you can pin music to Groove music app or pin some document to start menu. But I like Classic shell more. Can you add feature to pin files inside Documents, Music, Games etc by right clicking on file? This would be very cool.

Pinning by right-clicking is only available for programs and shortcuts, as to not clutter the menu for most files. You can drag any file to the start menu to pin it. |

Yes I know that but I don't like my files pinned alongside programs as they get mixed up. I want to pin inside documents, pictures, games menus via right click as they are logically organized there. |

Is that any different than dropping a shortcut of the document in the documents folder? and shouldn't the document be there in the first place? |

The Send To menu is actually a similar way to do what you are asking. Hold down Shift and right click the file in question. It will show you the folders like Documents, Music, Downloads etc there. The only difference is it copies the file there, doesn't create a shortcut. It will still show up in the Start menu subfolders. |
