You can't replace what the shutdown command does, but you can add a new menu item and have it run the .bat file. |

Thanks for your answer. Is it possible to add my own item to the shutdown menu directly?

As of Classic Shell 4.2.5, you can customize Shutdown items only in Classic and Classic with two columns styles. In Windows 7 style, you must add it to the main menu. The existing shutdown commands can only be hidden in Windows 7 style. Switch to Classic with two columns style and go to Customize Start Menu tab. Scroll down in left column and you can drag the Custom item from the right column to the left (below Shutdown). Then double click Custom to bring up the Edit Menu Item dialog where you can specify your own command. |
