Hi there, is it possible to activate a notification dialog on "Reboot-Button" in Classic-Startmenu like it was possible on Logoff-Button ? (see attachment) Kind regards Inga

Classic Shell doesn't have a confirmation but you can have one by installing a third party app called ShutdownGuard that adds a confirmation for programmatic (automatic) and manual shutdowns, restart and logoff: http://winaero.com/blog/avoid-accidenta ... downguard/

This user interface is shown by Windows actually, ShutdownGuard only calls the API and keeps running in the background to prevent the automatic shutdown. So the UI should show localized in German too. You can also customize the INI file that comes with ShutdownGuard to add your own text message to it. |
