| Post subject: | Start Menu skin disappears |
Hi guys, I upgraded my pc today from Win 8.1 to Win 10 with keeping all my apps and settings. Classic Start Menü didn't work with Win 10, I uninstalled it and installed the new version 4.2.5, worked fine. I put in Skin folder five Win 7 style skins which I already have in pc, closed and reopened the app but aforementioned 5 Win 7 style skins didn't appear in Start Menu skin settings. Any solution?.. |

If the menu skins do not appear after copying them into the \Program Files\Classic Shell\Skins folder, you may be using the wrong STYLE of the menu. *.Skin7 files means to use them, you must switch to the Windows 7 style. If the extension is just *.skin, then you must use the "Classic" or "Classic with two columns" style. You can switch the style from the first tab in Settings. |
