Hi, I recently upgrade from win 8 to win10, and have been using classic shell forever. But after I got win10, and changed to the metro skin theme, my taskbar has this pesky issue This damn green highlight on my all programs won't go away no matter what I do. I can't find an option in my default windows 10 settings, and I've tried uninstalling classic shell, clearing my computer of it's remnants, and re installing. Nothing. I thought it was just a default colour of the skin but seeing other screenshots I'm now convinced it is NOT. Can anyone help me fix this or at least tell me why this is happening? I just want it to be black / gray like everything else. I looked into editing the skin myself but I am way too noob to figure all that out :X

The highlight means you have new programs in the list. It should go away after you open All Programs once. |

Yes. It is the second setting in the General Behavior tab - "Highlight newly installed programs" |
