hi when i reboot, the 'Recent Items' menu gets cleared. How to prevent that? thx

Is this the only thing that gets cleared? Maybe your entire account gets reset for some reason.

@johnywhy, which Windows OS are you running? Also what about jumplists? Are they getting cleared too? Also by "Recent Items" you mean the menu with files and documents, right? That menu/list is maintained by Windows. It is only shown by Classic Shell. So something is clearing your document history at logon. e.g. some Group Policy or tweak you did or some cleanup app you run.
