I just upgraded my Win 8.1 Pro X64 computer to Win 10 Pro X64. Since I still don't like the Win10 start menu, it was necessary to reinstall the latest version of Classic Start.
All is well except several custom additions that I previously made to the start menu are missing. On the main level of the menu, I had added a few folders (Web Apps, Video Apps, Music Apps, etc) and had moved programs in those categories from the second level of the standard ClassicStart menu to those folders. i.e. It made those programs easier to find.
After upgrading to Win 10 and ClassicStart 4.2.4, those custom additions disappeared. It's going to be a real pain to find and recreate those custom folders.
I know that additions to the start menu are normally stored in the following folder: "C:\Users\UserID\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu" but my previous custom additions don't exist after the upgrade.
Can someone help me find these custom folders from the older versions of Win 8.1 & ClassicStart?
