Windows 8, when I hit the shell, I don't get the normal start menu. I get redirected to the Metro Start page instead! ARRRRGH!!! I have uninstalled and reinstalled Classic Shell, but to no avail. |

Look at the Controls tab in the settings. What is selected for "Left Click opens" and "Windows Key opens"? |

I solved it and rather easily. I went to settings>All Settings>Control>Left Click Opens and selected Classic Start Menu. Duh! |
