Hi! A few days ago I upgraded to Classic Shell 3.6.6. Ever since then, Classic Shell is longer listed under "Programs". Classic Shell is missing. What did I do wrong? How do I get it back? I am not that computer savvy. Thank you in advance. I think classic shell is great. Just a s a side note, I used to have Windows 7. Then when I upgraded to Windows 8, I downloaded Classic Shell way back in January.

did you create "PintoCSM" fix to pin items to Classic Shell? you may need to Shift-click to get your original windows Programs menu back, or go to that folder if you have it on your CS menu, and find the Classic Shell Folder, open it, right-click "Classic Start Menu Settings" and click Pin to CSM

otherwise, browse to your install location and do it

Note to Ivo: I think it'd be a good Idea to have another Exe file simply called "ClassicShellMenu.Exe" that people can pin or drag to quicklaunch etc.. eventhough the Settings Exe launches it anyway, it might confuse some people who dont see it as the program launcher initially

During installation there is a checkbox to add items to the start menu. Maybe you have unchecked it?
Either way, having Classic Shell in Programs is not required for it to work. Do you still get the start button and the start menu?
