Can anyone help me in getting "Administrative tools" link to appear on the start menu. It should appear with MyComputer, Recent Items, Control Panel etc. etc. |

Sure. 1. Right click the Start button, Settings. 2. Enable All Settings radio button. 3. Then click on Customize Start Menu tab. 4. In the right column on Customize Start Menu tab, scroll all the way down and locate "Custom Command". Double click it. 5. That will add it to the left column. Position it where you want (for example below DocumentsItem) by dragging it in the left column. 6. To identify it, give it an optional name like AdminToolsItem. This is optional however. Now double click the item. 7. In the Link field dropdown of "Edit Menu Item" dialog, choose Administrative Tools. 8. Choose an icon if you want: imageres.dll, 114 and click OK twice. |

The problem is that the Admin Tools do not show up when to search with "Search settings"! Probably then some other things do not show up either... please fix it! |

The content of the "Administrative Tools" folder are part of the Start Menu folder, and as such should appear in the Programs section. Maybe you moved it out of the start menu? |

The search box in the Settings dialog only allows searching settings, not menu items. Go to the Customize Start Menu tab and add Administrative Tools. |
