I am playing with windows 10 (32bit) and have installed Classic Menu. Does Classic Menu have a context menu if I right click on the Start button? I ask because one does not appear. Regards. |

Yes, when you right-click on the start button you should see a context menu. If you hold Shift you should see another menu. Do you not see anything? |

Ok, Shift right click I get the Classic Start Menu context menu. Normal right click nothing but a small repositioning of the mouse pointer. |

The normal right-click should give you the same menu as Win+X. Do you get it when you press Win+X? Also try Shift+right-click -> Exit. This will exit the start menu. Then right-click on the start button. Do you get the menu? |

There are settings that control what left click, shift left click, right click, and shift right click do. Maybe your setting for what a right click does got changed somehow? It's worth checking, at least. |

Since Win+X doesn't work even without Classic Shell running, then the whole menu must be busted. You have to find a way to repair it. See if you have a recent restore point you can use, or try running "sfc /scannow" from an admin command prompt. |

Both the Windows menu systwm and Classic Menu work as they should. The only issue is with right click context menu for the Start button and with Win Key +X doing nothing, irrespctive of which shell I use. sfc /scannow was one of the first things I did. No issues reported. |

I mean "the whole Win+X menu is busted". It shows the shortcuts of this folder: C:\Users\<your name>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WinX See if you have any bad shortcuts there. Other than that, I don't know what might be breaking it. Can be some registry setting that got corrupted or misconfigured. |
