Hi!

I've finally caved and installed Classic Shell 4.2.4 under Windows 10, because old habits die hard, I guess , and getting used to the Start Screen with its "All Apps" menu just won't work out. [I hated that Start Menu style under Windows 7 already.]
I've been using Classic Shell for quite a while now under Vista and 7 to great satisfaction. Now, under Windows 10, I noticed an odd behaviour, though.

I always have a couple of Shortcuts and Folders placed directly besides the Programs folder [i.e., directly in %AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu or %ProgramData%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu], which were then shown above the Programs sub-menu when you opened the Start Menu. These Shortcuts/Folders are now shown within the Programs sub-menu, at the very top. Windows did this since XP, I believe, when you used the two-column Start Menu.
Most recently under Windows 7, I had Classic Shell 4.x installed, and such items ["Games", "Internet", "Steam", and "Total Commander" in the attached screen] were displayed directly above the Programs sub-menu, as intended/expected.

Is there a reason for this behaviour even with the Classic-style Start Menu selected? Is it a Windows 10 limitation or a change with the latest Classic Shell release? Is there an option to change this that I'm just not seeing? If not, I'd like to request an option to toggle this behaviour.

I know I could theoretically pin applications and create custom items which are linked to a folder, but these are additional steps I simply would like to avoid.

Change the setting "Pinned Programs folder" on the Main Menu tab to "Use Start Menu folder".
