I know this sounds a bit odd, but I would like to have a shortcut to the Windows 8 Start Screen on the Classic start menu.

Can this be done?

After some googling ive come across this: http://www.7tutorials.com/download-shortcut-windows-8-start-screen-desktop
havnt tried it, dont endorce it (neither does classic shell)
if that works, you could create a shortcut to that program in the start menu

Go to the Classic Shell folder and locate the Start Menu Settings shortcut. Duplicate the file and rename it to Start Screen. Edit the properties and change the command line from "-settings" to "-togglenew". Change the icon to something more appropriate. Drag it to the start menu. That should do it.
