I noticed that all the computers that I upgraded to Windows 10 that had Classic Shell, I was prompted to fix Classic Shell and it did and is working fine. However, I just had a computer that was updated to Windows 10 that did not have Classic Shell and now I am not able to install it. Not related, I noticed that if I go to SafeMode with Windows 10, then mouse and keyboard will not work. I pulled in an external mouse but the external keyboard and the one on the screen, would not work. I used the mouse to start MSConfig and change the boot settings back to normal.

What do you mean by "not able to install it"? Do you get an error?

If you have an older version of classic shell the windows 10 compatability check program fails - says youcant get upgrade on your system then deletes the isntall and the upgrade icon - if you close classic shell you can get it all bcak but it dissapears on next start .
it tells you that you need to update windows etc etc.

Yes, version 4.1.0 and older are not compatible with Windows 10. You need to uninstall Classic Shell before you can upgrade Windows.
