I have My Computer setup as a menu. However, in Windows, it only goes one level deep. Meaning, hovering over it shows you all of your drives in My Computer but does not allow you to "menu" any of those items. You just click on one and it opens.

CSM keeps going, making each drive a menu and on down. Right now, I have to double click the folder I want to open.

Is there anyway to make it work like Windows?

Let me know if I am unclear.

Not perfect but Try this:

Step1

Open settings>advanced
go to customize start menu, find your "My computer item", edit it:
move the link text: ::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D} to the command field.
Then hit OK.

Step2
Next create a custom command by dragging custom command from the right side, and placing it on the my computer icon (that should nest it inside my computer)
now edit that command, giving it a link to one of your drives under my computer. then name it, give it an icon if necessary, and make sure to check "Don't Expand", then click ok

Step3 repeat step 2 for everything you want to show up under my computer. then hit OK for classic start menu settings

Thanks for the reply. However, that seems to be too much trouble to get it to work. It is not a huge issue to me to keep it the way it is, I was just wondering if there was some setting already built in to make it behave like Windows does.

Again, thank you.
