Hello,
I am using a Dell Vostro 270MT with Core i5-3450, 4GB RAM and Win8 Pro with all current updates. I have also set the computer to automatic logon with the help of "control userpasswords2"-call. Now I have observed that CS (downloaded on 02.04.2013) doesn't come up every second or third time after Win8 start up. In that case, the screen keeps in Metro-style after logon and the start button in the task bar (window screen) is missing. So it seems, that sometimes the service is started fast enough and sometimes the service is blocked from starting or has errors.
I would be pleased, if you could support me in this issue.

PS: On another machine with an Intel Core i3 and Win8 Pro everything works fine.

I solved the problem by uninstalling the DELL backup and recovery Software. One of its service always run into timeout and caused this CS issue.

Did you happen to identify the bad service? I'm interested to know the name of the service and which group it's in.
