Hi. Since I upgraded to Windows 8.1 there is some kind of setting in Classic Shell that makes Quick Launch toolbar disappear after a reboot. I tested this by uninstalling Classic Shell and then QUick launch toolbar gets saved by Windows and reappears after reboot as normal. With default Classic Shell settings the quick launch toolbar disappears. I changed a whole bunch of setting in Classic Shell from the default and now the Quick Launch toolbar gets saved again as normal. However, I could not figure out which specific setting fixed this problem. This definitely a bug in Classic Shell. I am using version 4.2.2 beta, but the same issue was happening in 4.2.1. Let me know if anyone has the same issue and if a patch can be issued to fix it. Thanks Eli |
