We use "Citrix XenDesktop" and Classic Shell is working awesome (much better than Start8 from Stardock). When I reconnect to our "desktop" or lock and unlock it will show the Windows "start" screen (aka Metro) and not the desktop. I have verified that Classic Shell has been set to "Disable Metro" and all active corners are disabled. Also Windows 8.1 has been confirmed to bypass start screen. |

On Windows 8.1 Classic Shell does nothing to skip the start screen. It just sets the OS setting. On Windows 8 it activates the desktop on startup, but does nothing else (like during unlock or whatever). However I am not seeing any issues locking/unlocking on normal Windows 8. Which OS do you have? |
