Post subject:  settings dialog popups after instalaltion
  • i install CS with these parameters: /qb START_MENU_FOLDER=0 ADDLOCAL=ClassicStartMenu
  • and then apply my custom settings with ClassicStartMenu.exe -xml settings.xml
  • after clicking start menu, settings dialog popup. i have to close the window
  • how can i avoid this? i want a full silent installation.

The command line XML import feature is only for loading the settings, not for suppressing the initial style selection prompt.

For skipping the initial settings dialog prompt, see this thread: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2321 You can use reg.exe to modify the HKCU\Software\IvoSoft\ClassicStartMenu branch without admin privileges.

reg.exe add HKCU\Software\IvoSoft\ClassicStartMenu /v ShowedStyle2 /t REG_DWORD /d 1
