Hi, I'm running the latest version of Classic Shell in Windows 8.1 Recently I noticed on the start menu if I click "All Programs", I see the list and when I try to scroll down it immediately pops back up to the top. I then started noticing this behavior in Windows Explorer and even in Classic Shell settings menu. I looked around to some troubleshooting advice and people have mentioned a setting "Fix folder scrolling " and make sure it is checked. Although I cant find this setting in classic shell and I'm not sure it will help with my issue. Appreciate any insights |

"Fix folder scrolling" is only a fix for a specific case of incorrect scrolling/jumping down of the Windows Explorer Navigation Pane in Windows 7. In Windows 8/8.1, it is already fixed. It is likely that the Home key, Pg Up key or Up arrow key on your keyboard is stuck or some software is sending these keystrokes. Classic Shell does not automatically scroll up anywhere and the cases you mention - settings dialog, Start Menu and Explorer are not affected. |
