Hello I managed to install ClassicStartMenu using this command (in WinReducerPI.cmd) "%CDROM%\WinReducerPI\ClassicShellSetup64_4_2_0.msi"/qn ADDLOCAL=ClassicStartMenu and now I want to add backup with the help of this command ClassicStartMenu.exe -xml <xml file> but i dont know how to do this thanks for your help |

You mean you want to restore a backup of settings from the XML. This can be done after Classic Shell is installed. ClassicStartMenu.exe is located in C:\Program Files\Classic Shell\. So suppose your Menu settings.xml file is at C:\Temp, then use in your .cmd file use the full path: "C:\Program Files\Classic Shell\ClassicStartMenu.exe" -xml "C:\Temp\Menu Settings.xml". The Start Menu settings are applied immediately (except the cold settings which require a restart of the menu). If you are restoring Classic Explorer settings, use ClassicExplorerSettings.exe instead of ClassicStartMenu.exe. |
