Just switched from Start8 to Classic Shell. One thing I noticed was that the context menu buttons are vertically smaller than in Start8, which makes me miss-click them sometimes. Is it possible to make them larger? |

What do you mean by "context menu buttons"? A screenshot would be helpful. |

The items in the right column don't stretch to the bottom because you have more content (in terms of pixels) in the left column. You can increase the size of the items by checking the "Large font" setting in the Skin tab. You can also switch to the Classic menu with two columns from the "Start Menu Style" tab. Then in the Skin tab uncheck the "No icons in the second column" setting, which will add icons to the items in the right column and make them even bigger. |

I think the buttons are just larger in Start8, look at my comparison:  Even when I set the max icons to 9 (or lower)

Yes, they are. It is a different program and is normal for it to look different. The size of the items in Classic Shell depends on the skin. If you want to increase the size of the items (and nothing else) you have to edit the skin file: http://www.classicshell.net/tutorials/skintutorial.html |

Download and try this skin: download/file.php?id=1950 . The item spacing in the right column is increased in this skin so the items are farther apart. Download it to the Desktop and then copy it and paste it to C:\Program Files\Classic Shell\Skins. Then open Classic Start Menu settings by right clicking the Start button -> Settings. Check the checkbox at the top "Show all settings" and switch to the Skin tab and pick the skin 'Windows 8 Skin with Wider Spacing'. |
