I removed Classic Shell and found that Win7's hibernate function IS NOT going through the normal shut down process by saving the workspace, it just goes to sleep. Then I discovered that my copy of Win7 [Ver.6.1.7601] has a Hybrid sleep mode, and not a true hibernate mode. So now I have to check and see if bios has been changed, or if win7 is corrupted. At this point it does not appear to be a CS issue, as CS should only be following what is set up in win7 control panel, where you can only adjust hybrid sleep, from which hibernate gets its directions. Even with CS removed from system I see no change in the hybrid sleep cmd's. I will keep you posted.
