Under Win8.1 with Classic Shell installed, how can I change the default action from "Shut Down" to "Sleep"? Thanks, Kevin |

If you are using the Windows 7 menu style, change the "Shutdown command" setting in the Main Menu tab. If you are using the Classic style, you need to edit the menu in the Customize Start Menu tab. Look at the "Current menu items" column and find the "Shutdown dialog" item near the bottom. Double-click on it and change the command from "shutdown_box" to "sleep". |
