I have a situation where I have 5 workstations, each with multiple users (dozens) who may sign in. I need these users to get our customized start menu the very first time they log in, with our settings in place, with no first run dialog (users are easily confused.) Unfortunately, we cannot use the admx templates. Can someone point me in the right direction for this? |

You can configure all settings using the HKLM\Software\IvoSoft\ClassicStartMenu registry key. You have the option to lock certain settings or just change the initial default value. Look at the "Administrative Settings" section in the help. |
