Does the installation of Classic Shell, on Win 8.1 still make it possible to access the Metro UI by pressing the Windows Logo keyboard button, otherwise how else do you get to the tiles screen. |

Metro UI is not disabled after Classic Shell. There are several ways to access it after Classic Shell is installed. - Via Shift+click on the Start button or via Shift+Win key. - Via a link inside the Start Menu Plus, you can configure whether the Start menu opens or Start screen opens by pressing the Start button or Win key from Classic Start Menu settings -> Controls tab. Classic Shell is safe to install and it doesn't do permanent modification to Windows. After it is uninstalled, your system will be left as it was before. |
