Why I can't use more than 20 last used programs? There are settings for more than 20, but in startmenu I never can see more than 20. |

The Start Menu is limited for 20 frequent programs for performance reasons. It also assumes you might be reserving some space for pinned programs. The Windows 7 Start Menu had a limit of 30 frequent programs. |

No, the limit is fixed to 20 in the code itself. There is no registry override. |

Starting with Classic Shell 4.2.5, the limit for recent/frequent apps is raised to 40. |
