Post subject:  Customize Start > Run > Browse Location?

I previously asked about this on SevenForums thinking there might be some way to do this natively in Windows 7, but it doesn't appear to be possible.

That being said, is there any way to set a default location when clicking Start > Run > Browse with Classic Shell?
There's no "My Places" option for this dialog box anymore in Windows 7 and it always defaults to my user directory.
Having a few commonly used folders available was very convenient. All you get now is a regular Explorer window.
The "My Places" functionality is apparently still available in Windows 7, but it only seems to show up in some Open/Save dialog boxes depending on the running application.

If not, is this something that could be added? Please let me know if what I am describing is clear or if I should add screenshots.

Thanks!

The start menu uses the system Run dialog and has no control over its behavior.

There is the Favorites section in the Navigation Pane. You might need to turn on the Navigation pane from the Organize button inside the Browse dialog. But I agree, it's not as convenient as XP because you have to scroll the navigation pane to get to the Favorites.

Windows Vista actually had a useful dialog where the Favorites section of the Navigation Pane would not scroll and the Folders section inside it was collapsible. So you could quickly get to your Favorites. But in Windows 7, Microsoft merged the two panes and now you have to scroll UP every time to use Favorites.
