| Post subject: | Classic Start Menu not loading |
I have a Win 2012 R2 server. I installed classic shell 4.0.4. Worked great, so i put the .adm files into c:\windows\policydefinitions. I made some changes to the settings, then logged off. Logged back into the server and now the start menu shell doesn't load. Tried changing some settings back (like the auto start for this user) no difference. i removed the .admx files from the policy folder, and uninstalled Classic Shell. I've installed v 4.1 but it still won't load. Windows boots to desktop, and i can open settings for the classic IE and classic Explorer but not Start Menu. no errors reported, just doesn't load. Suggestions, ideas? Any other info needed? Thanks! |

Download the Classic Shell Utility from here: http://www.classicshell.net/downloads/ Run it and send me the log file. |
