 Post subject: Windows 8.1.1 Question

Will the update (8.1.1) coming in April be handled the same way that 8.1 was handled? I am hoping Classic Shell will work after the update, as I have become dependent on it - it's just considered a part of Windows to me. Appreciate any input to relieve my mind. Thanks.

I would not know how Update 8.1.1 will affect Classic Shell until it comes out. If there are problems I will try to resolve them as soon as possible, however there are no guarantees that all features will be possible after the update.

Note: for others wondering about this - I received a reply from a member of Windows 8 Forums who has already installed 8.1.1 and Classic Shell works just fine with the update - so, no worry either way.
