Ok, guys : Great start--> excellent program, easily downloaded and seemless, BUT: How do I make new changes to Classic Shell in appearance and settings ?? I am new to this and now I find myself wasting a lot of time looking for the 'settings for classic shell' when I should not need to !!! Maybe the designer's might make this adjustment - for user - friendliness. Many thanks, and will donate , Cheers, Greg K. *** |

Classic Shell is not a full shell replacement or GUI. It is a suite of 3 components - Classic Start Menu, Explorer addin called Classic Explorer and IE addin called Classic IE. Settings for all 3 components are separate - you can access them from Start Menu -> All Programs -> Classic Shell. The settings are searchable so once you open the settings dialog for the menu, Explorer addin or IE addin, you can type in the search box at the top to find the setting you want. |
