It is complicated because the classic style menu is more powerful than Windows XP's menu ever was. It allows subitems for main items and completely customizing the command/link, label, tip, icon, sort order and a couple more options. Wouldn't you rather have more customization at the expense of a little complexity? If you want a simpler way, there is the Windows 7 style where it's very easy to add special folders.
Thanks for both replies.
When I was looking to put MUSIC in the right column, I selected "Classic with two columns" and I went to basic settings. When I saw you can display or not "This PC", "Favorites", "Recent Documents"... there, I thought:
-That's it, here I go.
But then I didn't saw any option to display or not "Music", "Videos", "Pictures"...
I think next update should include there an option to display or not all that basic folders, as there's This PC, Control Panel and all that stuff.
Thanks again, I would totally hate W8.1 without Classic Shell
