Dear All, Two questions related a corporate manageability functionality and a potential bug: 1. Pinned Start Menu Items Order The settings are saved under HKCU\Software\ClassicStartMenu\Order in randomly created REG_BINARY. Unfortunately even if I distribute these keys to another user using profile management solutions, this key is not appyed because CSM probably doesn't recognize it as its own Order Key. As soon as I start moving the pinned items around though, it creates a new REG_BINARY which keeps the user settings. Question: Is there the possibility to push a non-randomized REG_DWORD for all users? Change Request: Why is that Key a REG_BINARY? Could that not also be a nicely viewable REG_MULTI_SZ (as an example?) 2. Default Right Click Context menu If I enable the setting "Right click opens the Windows context menu", this shows the menu correctly, however the button's don't open Windows explorer or the Default Taskbar settings... Those two buttons don't do nothing. Is that correct like that? Because as soon as I exit CSM, these two context functions start to work normally again... Thanks for your help guys! Much appreciated, as always! ![]() ![]() Kind regards, Don |

1. The menu uses hashes for its order because it saves space and makes parsing faster. The hashes depend on the exact paths, which can differ between users. Migrating the order between users is not supported. 2. This is a known bug. It will be fixed. In the meantime you can use the CSM menu to open Explorer and you can right-click on the taskbar to get to its properties. |
