First I must check that this program is great, because it perfect solved problem with Metro UI. However I've got a trouble with music library, because program don't recognize it properly. There is only <No text>, no image and after clicking on it, nothing happens. Other libraries are displayed good. I don't know wthat's the issue. Thanks for response. |

This happens if some keys under Folder Descriptions branch in the registry get deleted, nothing to do with Classic Shell. Copy-paste the text between the lines into Notepad, save as .REG file and merge it into the Registry. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FolderDescriptions\{2112AB0A-C86A-4ffe-A368-0DE96E47012E}] "Stream"=dword:00000001 "InfoTip"=hex(2):40,00,25,00,53,00,79,00,73,00,74,00,65,00,6d,00,52,00,6f,00,\ 6f,00,74,00,25,00,5c,00,73,00,79,00,73,00,74,00,65,00,6d,00,33,00,32,00,5c,\ 00,73,00,68,00,65,00,6c,00,6c,00,33,00,32,00,2e,00,64,00,6c,00,6c,00,2c,00,\ 2d,00,31,00,32,00,36,00,38,00,39,00,00,00 "PreCreate"=dword:00000001 "LocalizedName"=hex(2):40,00,25,00,53,00,79,00,73,00,74,00,65,00,6d,00,52,00,\ 6f,00,6f,00,74,00,25,00,5c,00,73,00,79,00,73,00,74,00,65,00,6d,00,33,00,32,\ 00,5c,00,73,00,68,00,65,00,6c,00,6c,00,33,00,32,00,2e,00,64,00,6c,00,6c,00,\ 2c,00,2d,00,33,00,34,00,35,00,38,00,34,00,00,00 "RelativePath"="Music.library-ms" "StreamResource"=hex(2):25,00,53,00,79,00,73,00,74,00,65,00,6d,00,52,00,6f,00,\ 6f,00,74,00,25,00,5c,00,73,00,79,00,73,00,74,00,65,00,6d,00,33,00,32,00,5c,\ 00,73,00,68,00,65,00,6c,00,6c,00,33,00,32,00,2e,00,64,00,6c,00,6c,00,2c,00,\ 2d,00,32,00,00,00 "ParentFolder"="{1B3EA5DC-B587-4786-B4EF-BD1DC332AEAE}" "Category"=dword:00000004 "StreamResourceType"="LIBRARY" "Name"="MusicLibrary" "ParsingName"="::{031E4825-7B94-4dc3-B131-E946B44C8DD5}\\{2112AB0A-C86A-4ffe-A368-0DE96E47012E}" "Icon"=hex(2):25,00,53,00,79,00,73,00,74,00,65,00,6d,00,52,00,6f,00,6f,00,74,\ 00,25,00,5c,00,73,00,79,00,73,00,74,00,65,00,6d,00,33,00,32,00,5c,00,69,00,\ 6d,00,61,00,67,00,65,00,72,00,65,00,73,00,2e,00,64,00,6c,00,6c,00,2c,00,2d,\ 00,31,00,30,00,30,00,34,00,00,00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FolderDescriptions\{2112AB0A-C86A-4ffe-A368-0DE96E47012E}\PropertyBag] "FoldersDependentOn"="{4BD8D571-6D19-48D3-BE97-422220080E43};{3214FAB5-9757-4298-BB61-92A9DEAA44FF}" ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ |

Did it merge successfully? Didn't work means it gave an error merging? I am sure this <No text> error happens when some registry keys are deleted. Here, I made another .REG file which is ready-to-use and more comprehensive (it covers all folder descriptions, not just the Music library but also My Music and all other folders). Just double click it inside the ZIP and click Yes to merge it. Then log off and login back to Windows. It shouldn't say <No text> now in the Classic Start Menu. The reg is an exported reg branch of HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FolderDescriptions key so it's safe. Please let me know if it works. It's better to log off after merging so Explorer.exe and Classic Start Menu get restarted.

Both scripts are merging properly, but that doesn't work. I followed your instruction (restarting computer). Maybe, this is caused by mine other (than english) system language version? I had the same problem in W7. Ok I fixed it by myself. It was enough to set all libraries as default. |
