Hi guys,

I'm having a bit of an issue that I couldn't find a fix for in the settings nor in the FAQ section of this site. When my mouse hits the very lower left hand corner and the left edge, the Windows 8 start menu will show up instead of the class menu. If I click on the center of the button, the classic menu will show up. I really don't ever want the W8 start menu to show up on accident because I didn't focus on clicking on the button rather than hitting the edge. Is there a fix for this?

What version of Windows are you using? 8 or 8.1?
What version of Classic Shell?
What does your button look like?

I'm using 8.1. The button looks like the button that came with 8.1 (windows 8 window)... I'm using 4.0.2 powershell.

EDIT - So I changed the button to look the Aero option and it changes to the W8 logo when move my mouse to the very lower left edge (and slightly above it)

What is your "Disable active corners" setting? What you are describing is what will happen if you set it to "None". Set it to "Start screen" instead.
If that doesn't work, try the setting "Replace Start button".

I had the same problem, only since 4.0.2 CS seems to "stick" in the bottom left corner (I already had hot corners off, start menu replacement
etc all checked).
