I have Classic Shell and it works perfectly. My computer boots to the desktop and I have my Start button. If I install Windows 8.1, will it mess things up? |

Classic Shell 4.0 is fully Windows 8.1 compatible. If you do in an in-place upgrade from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 then it's better to do a Repair installation even if you have 4.0 installed. |
