Hi guys.

I've been using Classic Shell for awhile and got it to work with pretty much everything I want to do with it, especially putting the bin in the tabs. It is great!
I do wonder though, how possible is it to have a 'Everything Search Plugin' so I can replace the default search bar from Microsoft into Classic Shell?

I can run the program in its own tab but not within the Startup Menu saddly :(
Is there a way around it in the customization tools of Classic Shell or would someone need to write code to be installed (which I have no idea how to do)?

Thank you in advanced for answering my question :)

Sincerely,
Ed.

It is not possible to replace the search engine that the start menu uses.
It is possible in the Classic style to add external search utilities that can be launched from the start menu. Look at the documentation for examples.

For some distant future release of Classic Shell, this might be a very good idea. If the user isn't interested in searching contents of files, Everything is extremely powerful and easily beats Windows Search at speed of filename-only indexing because it directly queries the NTFS Master File Table (MFT) and then monitors changes using the USN Journal - a process that takes seconds instead of minutes.
