I just installed Classic Shell, and, so far, I really like it. I was just wondering if there is a way to sort the pinned items at the top of the start menu however I want. It seems like, for now, they refuse to sort any way but alphabetically. |

Right-click on one of the pinned items and see if "Auto arrange" is checked. Uncheck it and then you can drag the items in any order. |

I just upgraded to 8.1 and 4.0.2 and am having the same issue sorting programs pinned to the start menu. Auto arrange is unchecked, yet I am unable to drag them to a new sort order. No matter what I do they are sorting by name and I would like to manually put them in my preferred order. |

@Sunapee, just to be sure, auto arrange is off inside Classic Shell's context menu right? Right click on pinned items by opening the Start Menu -> Auto arrange is unchecked? (I only ask because Auto arrange also exists for desktop icons and other folders, and inside Windows Explorer). |

Looks like drag/drop is disabled in the General Behavior tab. |
