Can we change Start Menu transparency? My Start Menu looks almost like a solid gray whereas windows and taskbar are transparent. Start menu is transparent too, but only a very little, and it doesn't fit too well with the overall theme. My "Reduce Glass Color" option is unchecked. Anything else I can do to make it more transparent? P.S. Skin is Windows Aero. |

Sure, why not. I already modified the skins with Resource Hacker. What do I need to do? And thank you for the help. |

Load the skin in Resource Hacker and locate all the values of Main_bitmap. Save the bitmaps for which you need to modify the transparency, open those images in your favorite image editor and modify the layer's opacity/transparency (most editors will have such an option). Make sure to keep the middle white portion of the main bitmap (non-glass area) opaque/white. Save and replace the image in Resource Hacker. Now the glass should be more transparent. Is there any specific skin you would like help with increasing the transparency? |

Yeah, I need it only for 2 skins, but I'll still have to do it myself because my skins are already modded. As for your instructions, they are clear, don't worry. If I could reskin and add effects to an entire game, i can deal with that.  Thank you a lot for your help.
