I have Window 8 and I am using version 4.0.2 ............. Very happy with it.

So today I received a note that I can download a service pack to upgrade to 8.1

Can I just install the service pack or do I need to made some fixes in order that the 4.0.2 Classic Shell works?

What is the best way to do this? Just download again the version 4.0.2 and execute the file?

Thx for your time and help

Isaac

You will need to run the installer for 4.0.2 again and click on Repair.

Hello Ivo,

Lets see if I understand correctly.

When you say run the installer again, do you mean:

1) I need to download again the 4.0.2 EXE program and execute it again

2) When execute again the program, it will ask me if I want to repair it?

THx for your time and help

Isaac

1) Well, you don't need to download it again if you already have the EXE.
2) You run the installer, click Next, then it gives you 3 options - Change, Remove, Repair. Click Repair.
