That's odd.
Looking at TenForums site:
https://www.tenforums.com/software-apps ... 751784ed88I see entries of people updating to 1809 with Classic shell 4.3.1 without any problem.
People on GitHub say Classic Shell 4.3.1 works on 1809:
https://github.com/Open-Shell/Open-Shell-Menu/issues/86If you are using an insider edition, there are many beta versions, and they are not going to work, because they are buggy.
To get it to work you will have to download "Open-Shell" v4.4.131 instead:
https://github.com/Open-Shell/Open-Shell-Menuhttps://www.majorgeeks.com/files/detail ... start.htmlGood luck, you may need it.
Edit: Possible bad news
Even though this has nothing to do with Classic Shell,
be careful when updating to Win 10 1809 official release.
It is
BUGGY as well.
Some people on net are complaining the update deleted their personal files.
All my documents, pictures, music are still intact.
If updating, be sure to backup your personal files before the update process.
Also, if you use any type of file/folder locker software, you may not be able to access anymore, unless entry from safe mode/ another system.
Your locker password could become invalid after Win 10 1809 update. Yes, crazy.
Win 10 needs more QC.
The same thing happened to a company I worked for. To save money, they went from 100% test/QC
to 20%, then 2 out of the batch, then finally none.
